Ivory woke from her slumber and rolled over. There she found Seculus still in a deep sleep. He looked so peaceful, so she didn't want to wake him. Hmmm. Why not surprise him instead? She quietly leaned over before kissed him on the cheek and tip toed out of the room. Some time later, Ivory returned with a tray in her arms. On it was a few homemade blueberry muffins, silverware, a glass of orange juice, a hand written note with a starlight peppermint on it to keep it from moving. Quietly, she place the tray on her computer desk, gathered her laptop, exited to room quietly, and got comfortable in the living room. The last thing she wanted to do was to wake him up.

...mmn.....I woke up to the smell of pastries. I blinked sleepily and sat up a little, noticing a blob on the desk. After putting my glasses on, it became obvious that it was a breakfast in bed of sorts. ...aw. Ivory must have made it. I pulled on a t-shirt and smiled to myself, lifting the mint to retrieve the note.

'I wanted to wake you, but this seemed more pleasant. I'm in the living room once your done. I hope you had a wonderful sleep and if not, I'll help you feel better. Love you.' There was a hand-drawn heart at the bottom of it.

....could she possibly get any cuter? I was almost disappointed that I'd slept dreamlessly. I kept rereading the note as I ate the muffins, running my finger across the heart at the bottom. I picked up the glass of orange juice and the mint and took them out to the living room, sipping the juice. I would do the dishes later.

From the living room, she heard a bedroom door open. Her head perked up, and she saw Seculus enter the room. "Morning." She greeted with a smile.
