Terezi narrowed her eyes at him. Their what? She took a few steps towards Cale. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now." Yes, she was considering that. She was considering this for a while now, but now she'd be more than happy to do it.

"Because you would leave a poor little kitten homeless, and I also don't think your pet human needs any more blood imprinted on his brain, hm?"
Her /what/? Tassek was started to get kind of ticked off himself, though it was true enough that he'd rather not see another death. He clenched his fists and took a breath to calm himself.

Terezi's hands became fist. Oh, he was so infuriating! "What do you even want with him anyway? I barely know him. You can't obviously say to feed off of because I'm sure your walking blood bank does that job for you now."
She felt sorry for them. Terezi couldn't stand five minutes with Cale, let alone the rest of their human life.

Cale's smile disappeared, to be replaced by a grim scowl. "Don't call him that." He was nearly emanating a passive rage now, but it quickly faded as he focused on the other half of the conversation. "I figured he'd be worth the catch if he got away from you. Guess not, though. Nothing's worth enduring this." He glanced at Tassek. The kid really didn't look like he'd make much of a meal, nor had he the apparent ability to actually get away from another vampire. But it was the principal of the thing.
Tassek, meanwhile, was curiously wondering what they were talking about. A walking blood bank? Did he have someone whom he fed off regularly? How weird. And kind of sick.

"Well then take a long walk off a short pier and leave him and I alone." She snapped. Oh she didn't like this. She was so ready to jump him. On top of that, she was the only thing between Cale from Tassek. If Cale wanted the other male, then he'd have to go through Terezi first. Though it was probably certain he'd be signing his death certificate by doing so.

"Thanks. You go to hell too." He glared at her, then eyed the boy beside her. Was he really worth a possible fight? She was right, he didn't need the blood. May as well live to fight another day. He could always get him alone another time. "Don't think I'm gone for good, though." He blew Terezi a kiss and stalked off to go find his 'not a walking blood bank'.
He was gone. What a relief. Tassek watched Terezi carefully; she looked as if she wanted to rip something's head off, and the likely target of such violence had just left her line of sight. He decided to tread carefully for fear of decapitation. "....I guess you could probably go home now."

Terezi made a face as Cale walked away. She wanted to murder this guy. To rip to pieces and sell the parts on ebay to the highest bitter. Terezi was ready to lunge and attack this guy.
Then she remember Tassek was still standing there.
With a sigh, she looked back at him. "Yeah, I guess so." She sounded at least a bit more calm. "Just be careful thought, I'm sure this won't be the last time you see him."

Of course it wouldn't. He'd even said that he'd be back. He nodded, relieved that she wasn't trying to kill him, and turned back in the direction they'd been going towards his apartment. Then he paused and looked at her. "...thanks. Maybe if you want, I could visit while not being stalked by your nemesis." Smiling a little, he went off.

Terezi gave a weak smile. "I'd like, hopefully he'll crawl back into the dark corner he came from soon." Once he walked about, Terezi turned and went in the opposite direction. However, it wasn't to return home. No, she had some unfinished business to take care of.
She headed towards a nearby Walgreens, and walked inside the store. This was his working hours, she believed. If not she would find him SOMEWHERE she had all night.

Zane Hart was putting away boxes of cereal on aisle 8. He had slightly shaggy white-blonde hair, messy and curled at the ends, and odd, dark gray eyes, almost black. The blue uniform was a bit tight on his tall, broad-shouldered frame and he tugged at the color as he stacked packages of Lucky Charms. Then the bell on the door rang and he left the pallet of boxes to go check. He was the only employee in right now, as the other cashier had called in sick, but the store was mostly empty so he'd been restocking in the meantime. It was his only good chance to do so; his coworker tended to mix up brands and prices, making his job even harder. He peered around the corner of the aisle and said "Hello, may I help you find anything?"

There he was. Between the isle of over priced cereal and utter disgust. Of course, she didn't expect Zane to recognize her. She was never around when Cale and him were out and about, but Terezi was obviously sure she was talked about. Probably was all he ever talked about. "Yes I think you can." She began. "Do you know someone named Cale? He's got gold eyes, tan, and an ego so massive if could fill three of these stores."

He frowned with concern. "You are not an auditor, are you? I promise, he will pay within the month, please just be patient." Cale had a certain amount of debt to various banks. He worried about him sometimes. Well, all the time, really.

Terezi looked down at her hands then back at him. "No actually I'm much worse." She leaned against some of the shelving. "I'm a pissed off vampire wondering what the fuck is he doing at my house."

He regarded her, sighed, and bowed politely. "Not again. I apologize for his actions, please do not attempt to take revenge, legal or not...I will see what I can do about making amends."

"See, this is where the problems lies." She stood right in front of him. "I've been waiting for him leave me alone for a couple decades now, and now he's brought a human into the mess that I need to babysit now because Cale can't keep it in his pants." Terezi was obviously wanting this situation to be done and over with.

The euphemism at the end made him flush a little, but he straightened, eyes widening. "So you are...Terezi?" Naturally Cale never stopped talking about her, whether it was to complain or rant about how perfect she was. It almost made him a bit jealous, but that was stupid. "What occurred to cause involvement of the other human?"

She nodded. "Yes, I am THE Terezi he probably never shuts up about." She rubbed her temples with her middle finger and thumb. "Honestly, I don 't know. I might the human like... twice by mistake, and a month later he showed up at my house saying Cale was stalking him, and that the human had never seen him in his life, so your guess is probably better than mine."

He shrugged. "Not certain. I do not entirely understand his infatuation with you or the reasons behind it. Though he has been preoccupied during the evenings as of late, I can only assume with following your friend." He'd also been refusing to eat, which, while being a lot healthier for Zane, wasn't so much for Cale. He absently rubbed at the bandages and cosplay-looking collar around his neck as he tried to remember when Cale had last eaten. The bite marks on his neck were starting to itch, scabbing over slowly. It couldn't have been less than the month Terezi had mentioned. He was really set on this.

"Well whatever it is. Could you please found out why and put a stop to it?" She asked him sincerely. "Tassek isn't exactly an annoying person but Cale trying to get involved in things he doesn't know about is." She then noticed the collar on his neck, probably to cover the wounds. Looked tacky, but it did the trick.

"I will attempt to do so. Again, I apologize for his behavior." Half the time it felt like he was his babysitter. Sigh. "How is...'Tassek' reacting to all of this?" He wouldn't be surprised if there had been threats to call the police. He had almost done so, but he'd known Cale too well at the time to pull something like that. According to Terezi, though, she hadn't known him long, so it was more likely.

"Scared shitless, I'm assuming. At least, I think that's why he even considered getting my help." Honestly, if Terezi was in Tassek's shoes, she would of long ago, but it would probably just make things worse on his end if he did. "I walked him home today, well at least halfway before I confronted Cale. After that he went to..god knows where."

"If he has not yet informed federal forces, there may still be hope. I will assure that Cale does not bother you again. And I would assume that, as you were walking him home, he continued to the intended destination...?" It seemed logical. Unless "home" was a nickname for someplace else. In which case, there was probably something wrong with this kid.
2015-04-11 05:02:57 -
●
Terezi nodded. "I believe so. I don't think he really had anywhere else to go." As for Cale, he could be anywhere. With some hope it would be at the bottom of the nearest water mass around here, but it would be too good to be true for her.

"Then in all likelihood he is perfectly fine physically and scarred mentally. So do not worry." Zane was just great at motivation. If Cale had given up and wandered off, it had probably been to find him. He would have to figure out where he had ended up later; Cale didn't have the greatest sense of direction, even after centuries of wandering. "I will be here or outside if you require anything." He glanced at the clock, then felt guilty. His shift was almost over and he had spent a large chunk of it standing here and chatting with his, um, roommate's worst enemy/unrequited love. At least no one had seen it to dock his pay.

Terezi gave Zane a nod in understatement. "Alright, thank you. It was nice meeting you." She then turned and left the store. Well, it seemed like the entire situation was solved. Now to make her way back home. That dress wasn't going to sew itself, you know.
